So what will become of the two men who appear to be polar opposites but both in love with Marianne? And what about Edward? Will we find out more on him this week?......
After talking with Ashley, we realized our chapters are numbered differently. In my copy (the Penguin Classics deluxe edition) we will read through Ch. 7, Volume 2.
In the B & N version, you need to read through Ch. 29. If we stay at this pace, we'll have this book read in 4 weeks...
Let's add to the comments of the previous post that Ashley started for Ch. 1-15 discussion. Comments on this post can be for more ideas/thoughts of how to go about this book club...
And I asked my Mom to join if she would like, as her own book club with some ladies in Utah is not seemingly going to work out for the fall. If any of you have any others you think would enjoy this, let me know so I can add them to the list so they will be able to post! (Right now only members of the blog that I add can post or make comments). Andrea, Seren, and Lisa (my LA roommate) might join us as early as next week...

Do you mean read through Chapter 27?
Okay It looks like Natalie's book is a little different. I talked with her and we are going to go through chapter 29 which is to page 99 in the Barnes and Noble edition. For Natalie's reference the first line of Chapter 30, which we are not reading but just reading up to is, "Mrs. Jennings came immediately to their room on her return,..."

We just moved into our first home and I am just getting ready to start a new job this week, so I will do my best to catch up..but I may have to sneak in on the next JA spectacular.
Andrea congratulations on the new house and job! Woohoo! I'm a bit of a slacker too. But I should be done with the first 15 chapters by the end of tonight and will be able to add some comments tomorrow. I guess that's the beauty of the blog we can add comments whenever we want.

Ok, I am going to try and read through ch. 29 before thursday and post, but no promised on that. We are getting ready to take off for France for two weeks, so I will be "absent" until mid-November.

Thanks ladies! I'm starting a new job this week and right off the gate they are sending me out of town to Federal Way for licensing courses...for TWO WEEKS!
Dana and I haven't been apart for more than two days...literally...two days since we have been together...sad. :(
